Quick answer

How do I start with Broadband Proxies?

Create an account (an account number, no email needed), top up in crypto, and buy a plan such as 1 GB for $2.63 (October 2026). Then connect to gw.broadbandproxies.com:7777 with a username like USERNAME-country-us-state-tx-city-houston-asn-7922. Broadband Proxies asks for no KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents.

Five steps from sign-up to a verified ISP IP

  1. Open an account

    The client area gives you an account number, which is your login. Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered.

  2. Top up in crypto

    Choose a plan on the pricing page and top up at least its price ($25 minimum) in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Send the exact amount on the exact network shown, then click I've sent the payment. The balance is credited once the payment is confirmed.

  3. Buy the plan from your balance

    Credentials appear in your dashboard: Credentials appear in your dashboard as soon as you buy a plan from your confirmed crypto balance.

  4. Write your target in the username

    Start from USERNAME-country-us, then add -state-, -city-, -zip- and -asn- as needed. The ISP pages list the AS numbers.

  5. Check the exit IP

    Look up the exit IP's ASN once per session, as in check the ASN of your exit IP, before you trust the result.

Which plan should I buy first?

Start with the 1 GB plan at $2.63 to see whether the ISP and city you need have homes online at the hours you work. Light HTML pages weigh about 1 to 3 MB with their images, so 1 GB covers a few hundred checks. When the test works, the 10 GB plan costs $5.94 and the 100 GB plan $50. Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them.

How do I write the username?

The full format is USERNAME-country-{cc}-state-{state}-city-{city}-zip-{zip}-asn-{asn}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}. Only country-us is required. Write city names in lower case with underscores (new_york, san_antonio, st_louis), states as two-letter codes (tx, ny) and ASNs without the 'AS' prefix (asn-7922).

For a sticky session, add -session- with any ID you choose and -ttl- with minutes: sticky sessions last up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier, for example if the home device goes offline). Without a session, Each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive).

How do I connect from curl, Python or a browser?

Use host gw.broadbandproxies.com, port 7777 for HTTP and HTTPS or 7778 for SOCKS5, with your username and password. Username and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time. In a browser, use the HTTP port: most browsers cannot send a password over SOCKS5.

curl: Comcast in Houston, then the same IP for 15 minutes
# rotating: a new connection usually gets a new Comcast IP in Houston
curl -x http://gw.broadbandproxies.com:7777 \
  -U "USERNAME-country-us-state-tx-city-houston-asn-7922:PASSWORD" https://api.ipify.org

# sticky: keep one IP for up to 15 minutes with a session ID
curl -x http://gw.broadbandproxies.com:7777 \
  -U "USERNAME-country-us-state-tx-city-houston-asn-7922-session-hou1-ttl-15:PASSWORD" https://api.ipify.org
Python requests: Spectrum in Los Angeles over SOCKS5
# pip install "requests[socks]"
import requests

user = "USERNAME-country-us-state-ca-city-los_angeles-asn-20001"
proxy = f"socks5h://{user}:[email protected]:7778"
r = requests.get("https://api.ipify.org?format=json",
                 proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=30)
print(r.json())

What should I do if a request fails?

  • No IP for your filters: drop the ZIP, then the city, and keep the ASN. Small networks and small cities have fewer homes online, especially at night. City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online.
  • Authentication error: check the password and that the username has no space; a wrong segment name also fails.
  • Blocked target: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 are refused by the gateway.
  • Anything else: write to [email protected] with the time (UTC), the username without the password and the exit IP. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week.

Getting started: FAQ

Do I need an email address?

No. Account-number login; email is optional. An email is only useful to recover the account if you lose the number.

How long does the top-up take?

It depends on the coin and network: the balance is credited once the payment has the required confirmations. The payment page shows the confirmations each network needs; we do not promise a fixed delay.

Can I use several ISPs with one plan?

Yes. A plan is a volume of GB, not an ISP. Change the asn- in the username to switch networks; every request draws on the same traffic.

Can I give a colleague access?

Yes, with sub-users: Username and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time.

Is there an API?

Yes. The API documentation covers the account, top-ups, orders and residential usage, with curl, Python and Node.js examples.
