Quick answer

How do I connect to Broadband Proxies?

Connect to gw.broadbandproxies.com on port 7777 (HTTP, HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5) with a username in the format USERNAME-country-{cc}-state-{state}-city-{city}-zip-{zip}-asn-{asn}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}. Only the country is required. Broadband Proxies includes every targeting segment from $2.63 for 1 GB (October 2026); no KYC, crypto only.

Which username segments exist?

SegmentValuesExampleNotes
country-Two-letter country code, lower casecountry-usRequired
state-Two-letter US state codestate-txUnited States only
city-City name, lower case, underscorescity-san_antonioCity availability varies; the checkout shows what is online
zip-Five-digit US ZIP codezip-77006United States only
asn-AS number without 'AS'asn-7922Included at no extra cost
session-Any ID of letters and digitssession-qa7Sticky mode; omit for rotating
ttl-Minutes, with a sessionttl-20up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier, for example if the home device goes offline)

Gateway and account reference

Hostgw.broadbandproxies.com
HTTP and HTTPSPort 7777 (HTTPS through CONNECT)
SOCKS5Port 7778
AuthenticationUsername and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time
RotationEach new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive)
Traffic countingUsage counts all data sent and received through the proxy (upload and download, headers included). 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. Connection attempts that fail before reaching the target are not counted
Blocked targetsBanking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587

What do common errors mean?

  • 407 Proxy Authentication Required: the gateway did not accept the credentials. Check the password, the spelling of each segment and that there is no space.
  • Connection closed at once: check that the port matches the protocol (HTTP clients on 7777, SOCKS5 on 7778) and that the target is not on the blocked list.
  • Timeouts with narrow filters: no home device matches at that moment. Drop the ZIP, then the city (combining guide).
  • IP from another network: see check the ASN of your exit IP.

Can I use an IP allowlist instead of a password?

Yes: Username and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time. With an allowlist, targeting segments still go in the username field your tool sends.

Is HTTPS traffic decrypted?

No. HTTPS goes through the gateway as an encrypted CONNECT tunnel. We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy.

Can I order plans through the API?

Yes, the API documentation describes orders and top-ups. Payment itself is always a crypto transfer from your wallet.
