Quick answer
What is a cheaper way to get ASN targeting than SOAX Scale?
SOAX lists ASN and ZIP targeting only from its Scale plan, $1,500 a month (read 2026-10-18). Broadband Proxies includes ASN, state, city and ZIP on every plan, from $2.63 for 1 GB as of October 2026, with one-off plans that never expire, no KYC and crypto payment.

What does the Scale gate cost a small buyer?
To use an ASN at SOAX, a buyer commits to the Scale plan: $1,500 a month in credits, which buy about 1,000 GB of US traffic at $1.50 per GB, and which expire after 60 days if unused. That fits a large monthly workload. For a few ASN-targeted checks a week, Broadband Proxies's $5.94 10 GB plan covers the same need without a subscription.
Is ISP-name targeting enough?
Sometimes. An ISP name is easier to type, but it may not tell you which of an ISP's networks you get. Spectrum, for example, still runs former Time Warner Cable regions on their own ASNs (AS11427 in Texas, AS12271 in New York City). With ASN targeting you can pick the regional network. See how ASN targeting works.
Where is SOAX the better choice?
SOAX offers residential and mobile traffic at one rate, region and ISP targeting on all plans, and a large enterprise offer with lower rates per GB at high volume. If your company already passes its verification and buys a terabyte a month, its Scale plan includes ASN. For ID-free, pay-per-use ASN targeting, Broadband Proxies is simpler.
