A proxy provider handles traffic that matters to you. This page lists each record we hold and each record we refuse to create, plus who sees them and how to erase them.

**Quick answer — What personal data does Broadband Proxies keep?**

**Broadband Proxies** keeps your account number, your top-up and order records with their TXID, and your traffic totals. For up to 30 days it also keeps connection metadata, used for abuse reports and billing disputes. An email exists only if you add one. With no KYC, there is no ID, selfie or home address on file. Request content and full URLs are not logged, and no data is sold or used for ads.

## Who is responsible for your data?

Data about you is controlled by ProxyGoat LLC, the Delaware company behind Broadband Proxies. Send any question or request about your data to support@broadbandproxies.com.

## Which data do we keep, and why?

The third column matters if the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you.

| Data | Purpose | GDPR legal basis | Where it comes from |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Account number | Signing in to the client area | Contract, Art. 6(1)(b) | Created when the account is opened |
| Email address, only if you add one | Receipts, security notices and account recovery | Contract, Art. 6(1)(b) | You |
| Top-ups and orders: amount, coin, network, date and TXID | Crediting the balance, delivering plans, bookkeeping and fraud checks | Contract; legal duty, Art. 6(1)(c); legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) | Your payments |
| Traffic totals | Showing your usage and charging plans | Contract, Art. 6(1)(b) | The gateway |
| Connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes), deleted after 30 days | Handling abuse reports and billing disputes | Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) | The gateway |
| API keys and sub-user settings | Running your account the way you configured it | Contract, Art. 6(1)(b) | You |
| Emails to support | Answering your questions | Contract; legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) | You |

## What do we not collect?

- **No identity documents.** There is no KYC, so we hold no ID card, passport, selfie or proof of address.
- **No card or bank details.** Payment is in crypto only.
- **No request content.** We do not record the pages you load, full URLs or the data you send and receive.

## Who receives any of this data?

- **Our payment processor**, which we do not name, sees the top-up amount and the blockchain data of the transfer.
- **Our upstream network provider** routes your traffic. It may keep logs of its own, under its own policy.
- **Authorities** get records only under a legal requirement, limited to the records listed on this page.

We do not sell data or share it for marketing. Blockchain transfers are public by design, so the wallet you pay from is visible on-chain.

## Does the site use cookies?

The client area sets one session cookie to keep you signed in. The cookie is deleted at sign-out or when the session times out. The public website uses no advertising cookies and no ad trackers.

## How long do we keep data?

We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy.

If you need the retention period of another item, ask support@broadbandproxies.com.

## What are your rights?

You may request a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have your account and its linked records deleted. Write from the email address on the account. Without an email, we may be unable to confirm that the account is yours. A deleted account loses its balance and traffic.

Depending on where you live, more rights may apply:

- **US state privacy laws**, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other states, where they apply to us;
- **the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR**, for users in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

Replies follow the deadline of whichever law covers you.

## Security, minors and changes

We protect stored records with reasonable technical and organisational measures. We never ask for your account number by email or chat. Keep your account number in a password manager and use one sub-user per project.

The service is for adults, and we do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18. The current version is the one dated at the top of this page. Notable changes are listed in the [changelog](https://broadbandproxies.com/changelog/).
