## How do I target Spectrum in the proxy username?

Add `asn-20115` to your username. The full format is `USERNAME-country-{cc}-state-{state}-city-{city}-zip-{zip}-asn-{asn}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}`; every segment except the country is optional.

- `USERNAME-country-us-asn-20115`: any Spectrum IP in the United States.
- `USERNAME-country-us-state-ca-asn-20115`: Spectrum in one state.
- `USERNAME-country-us-state-ca-city-los_angeles-asn-20115`: Spectrum in Los Angeles.
- `USERNAME-country-us-state-ca-city-los_angeles-asn-20115-session-spectrum1-ttl-15`: the same Los Angeles IP kept for up to 15 minutes.
- `USERNAME-country-us-asn-10796`: former Time Warner Cable, Midwest (Ohio and around).

Connect to `gw.broadbandproxies.com` on port 7777 (HTTP and HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5). Each extra filter shrinks the set of matching home IPs: if a request finds none, drop the ZIP or city first and keep `asn-20115`. Check what you got with our [exit IP ASN guide](https://broadbandproxies.com/guides/check-exit-ip-asn/).

## What do Spectrum IPs look like to websites?

Spectrum is the result of Charter's 2016 purchases of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, and the routing still shows it: many former TWC and Bright House regions keep their own AS numbers. A Spectrum IP in Los Angeles often sits on AS20001 and one in Tampa on AS33363, not on AS20115. If you want 'any Spectrum home in Texas', target the state plus `asn-11427`; if you want Spectrum anywhere, run requests on several of the ASNs below.

## What changed at Spectrum in 2025 and 2026?

- Charter completed its transaction with Cox Communications and Liberty Broadband effective August 19, 2026. The consumer brand stays Spectrum; former Cox markets move to Spectrum branding, and the parent company is due to be renamed Cox Communications within a year. Cox's own network keeps its AS22773 for now: see [Cox](https://broadbandproxies.com/isps/cox/).

## What can I check with Spectrum IPs?

Spectrum IPs are useful to check Spectrum-specific offers and upgrade pages, to see how a site treats the largest US cable network by footprint, and to reproduce bugs reported by Spectrum customers in a given region (former TWC, Bright House or Charter legacy area). More examples are in our [use cases](https://broadbandproxies.com/use-cases/); the rules are in the [acceptable use policy](https://broadbandproxies.com/acceptable-use/).

## Spectrum residential proxy pricing

ASN targeting costs nothing extra: Spectrum traffic is billed at the same rate per GB as any other US network. See [all plans](https://broadbandproxies.com/pricing/).

| Plan | Quantity | Price | Price per unit |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Test | 1 GB | $2.63 | $2.63/GB |
| Team | 10 GB | $5.94 | $0.59/GB |
| Business | 100 GB | $50 | $0.50/GB |
| Terabyte | 1 TB | $500 | $0.50/GB |

In every plan: Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5 · Targeting: ASN (ISP), state, city and ZIP in the US; country elsewhere; city availability varies · Sessions: Rotating or sticky (up to 30 minutes) · Authentication: Username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs) · Traffic expiry: Never expires

Prices in US dollars, paid in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Fund your balance (at least $25, or the price of the plan you want), then buy from it; Unused balance stays on your account and never expires. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it. No identity documents are asked for.

## Spectrum residential proxies: FAQ

### Which ASN should I use for Spectrum in Los Angeles, Dallas or Tampa?

Use the regional network first: AS20001 (former TWC Pacific West) for Los Angeles, AS11427 (former TWC Texas) for Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, and AS33363 (former Bright House) for Tampa and Orlando. AS20115 is Charter's main network and also covers many areas. Check the result with a lookup, as in our [ASN check guide](https://broadbandproxies.com/guides/check-exit-ip-asn/).

### Did the Cox merger change Spectrum's ASNs?

Not as of October 2026. Charter closed the Cox deal effective August 19, 2026, but Cox's AS22773 is still listed by RIPEstat under Cox Communications. Brands change faster than routing. Target Cox areas with `asn-22773` until the routing data shows a move.

### How many Spectrum IPs does Broadband Proxies have?

Broadband Proxies does not publish IP counts per ISP. RIPEstat counts about 12.5 million IPv4 addresses announced by AS20115 alone (2026-10-18), but that measures Charter's network, not our pool. ASN availability varies by network, city and time of day; the checkout shows what is online, and no IP count per ISP is published.

### How much does a Spectrum residential proxy cost?

The same as any other US network: Spectrum targeting is included at no extra cost. As of October 2026, Broadband Proxies charges $2.63 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB, $50 for 100 GB and $500 for 1 TB ($0.50/GB). Pay from a $25 crypto top-up; unused traffic never expires.
